Q: What is your favorite animal and why?
My favorite animals are birds because I am envious of their ability to fly!
Q: How long have you lived out West?
I have lived out west since I was 6; born in Minnesota, moved to Colorado when I was 6 and to Pinedale when I was 13.
Q: What’s your best tip for living in Wyoming?
Always have a jacket handy and know how to build a fire!
Q: Describe a project you are particularly proud of completing.
My most recent and exciting accomplishment has been graduating from the University of Wyoming.
Q: What attracted you to a career in conservation?
I love Wyoming because of the open spaces and majestic mountains. Conservation in Wyoming is a key element to protecting the things I cherish most about this state.
Q: What do you like best about your job?
What I like most about my job are my co-workers; we always seem to find a good laugh during the day!
Q: What outdoor activities do you enjoy?
I love running, snowboarding, walking the dogs, hiking, boating, and just simply being outdoors to smell the fresh Wyoming air.
Q: What is your favorite western movie?
I do not watch a lot of Westerns, but (although not a true Western) I did like the movie True Grit.
Q: In what community organizations or activities do you participate?
I do the community clean-up day, participate in the local running races, I have helped sell rodeo tickets for the Rendezvous Rodeo, I love Pinedale Fine Arts Council events, am an Indian in the Green River Rendezvous Pageant, and participate in the local softball league.
